Having re-signed division 1 coach Brad Julier, Yarraville Seddon Eagles men’s team extended their winning streak to three in a row on Sunday, defeating 3rd placed Hoppers Crossing in a hard-fought and blustery game at Yarraville Oval. After Hoppers Crossing got away to a strong start Blake Green finished with 3 goals as part of a strong Yarraville side that led at half, three-quarter, and full-time.

The win brings Yarraville level on points with St Albans coming into the end of the 2022 season. With coach and several key players already confirmed for 2023 there’s a growing confidence about a strong 2023.

2022 naming sponsor Melbourne Cleaning Group owner David Muscat said he was pleased to see the win, but wasn’t surprised as the team had been growing throughout the season. Club president Naime Siddell said it shows the strength of the club, with a strong pipeline of talent coming through the juniors program for both mens and womens teams. Time to get on board for 2023!
