Our History
The club’s history dates back to the former Yarraville Boys Club, which later became known as the Yarraville Juniors. In 2006, a significant milestone was reached with the amalgamation of the Yarraville Football Club, Kingsville Football Club and Yarraville Juniors, forming what is now the Yarraville Seddon Eagles Football Club.
In 2017, we proudly fielded our inaugural girls’ football teams in the Under 12 and Under 15 competitions, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the club. Since then, our girls’ football program has continued to flourish, and we are proud to offer opportunities across all girls’ age groups, either independently or in partnership with neighbouring clubs.
Today, the Yarraville Seddon Eagles continue to grow and strengthen each year. We proudly field 17+ junior teams, catering for players from Under 8s through to Under 18s across both boys’ and girls’ competitions. Our commitment to inclusion, player development and community spirit remains at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy their football journey.

Season 2026
The Yarraville Seddon Eagles are excited to welcome new and returning players for the 2026 junior football season.
WFNL junior matches are played on Sundays, with the season commencing on Sunday 19 April 2026. The home and away season consists of 14 rounds, with scheduled bye weekends on 7 June and 5 July.
Following the completion of the home and away season, eligible teams will compete in a three-week finals series, running through mid to late August.
Game times generally range from 8:40am to 2:40pm, with younger age groups typically playing in the earlier timeslots.
Whether you’re new to football or returning for another season, the Yarraville Seddon Eagles provide a fun, inclusive and supportive environment where players can develop their skills, build friendships and enjoy being part of a great community club.
